Naturopath and Therapist in Ayurvedic Medicine
ASCA & RME Recognised · Swiss Federal Diploma Training View Our TeamLidia is a naturopath and therapist in Ayurvedic medicine, recognised by ASCA and RME in Switzerland. Her approach is centred on personalised Ayurvedic care, integrating nutrition, lifestyle guidance, traditional body treatments and Ayurvedic therapies according to each person’s individual needs.
She is currently continuing her professional training towards the Swiss Federal Diploma in Ayurvedic Medicine, with clinical and practical training under Vaidya Yogeet Kapoor at L’essencce – Centre for Ayurvedic Medicine in Nyon.
Lidia has studied Ayurvedic medicine with different schools and teachers in Switzerland. In 2026, she completed her studies at EPSN in Lausanne, complemented by additional modules and specialised Ayurvedic studies through EIVS and other Ayurveda training programmes.
At L’essencce, she continues to deepen her theoretical knowledge and clinical practice under the supervision of Vaidya Yogeet Kapoor. This ongoing training allows her to further develop an integrated understanding of Ayurvedic assessment, nutrition, lifestyle, therapeutic care and traditional Ayurvedic treatments.
According to each person’s needs and within the scope of her professional practice, Lidia can provide:
Ayurvedic nutrition and lifestyle guidance;
specialised Ayurvedic therapies and treatments, according to individual indications and the therapeutic programme;
ongoing support in implementing and adapting an individualised Ayurvedic programme;
integration of yoga and therapeutic yoga when appropriate.
At L’essencce, she works within a collaborative and coordinated approach to patient care. Cases requiring a more comprehensive clinical assessment can be managed in collaboration with Vaidya Yogeet Kapoor, Ayurvedacharya and federally qualified naturopath in Ayurvedic medicine in Switzerland.
Lidia’s therapeutic work is also supported by an extensive background in yoga. She has practised yoga since the age of 18 and has been teaching since 2002, following several years of travel, study and immersion across Asia, Australia and Europe.
In Australia, she completed more than 1,000 hours of in-person professional yoga training. She has since accumulated over 6,000 hours of teaching experience and is recognised in Switzerland as a Yoga Therapy practitioner by ASCA and RME. She is also a Yoga Alliance 500 E-RYT certified teacher.
This long-standing experience has given her an in-depth understanding of the body, movement, breathing and the relationship between lifestyle and overall balance. Today, this background enriches her work in Ayurvedic medicine while remaining complementary to it.
For Lidia, Ayurveda has become a natural continuation of her therapeutic journey. While yoga has allowed her to explore movement, breath and body awareness for more than three decades, Ayurvedic medicine offers a broader framework for understanding the individual constitution, digestion, nutrition, daily routines, lifestyle and therapeutic care.
The meeting of these two traditions has shaped her approach to Ayur Yoga, in which yoga practices may, when appropriate, complement Ayurvedic consultation, nutrition and lifestyle guidance, massage and specialised therapies.
Her aim is to provide progressive, personalised and coherent care, taking into consideration each person’s constitution, lifestyle, individual needs and evolution over time.
